Cottage Rentals
Castaways offers vacation cottages for those who like to camp with the feeling of home. All vacation cottages (except the handicap units) sleep six and include a fully functional kitchen with cookware and utensils, full bath, furnished living room with cable TV, wireless internet, heat & a/c. All are close to laundry facilities. Guest must bring their own towels, washcloths, Bed sheets, pillow cases, and kitchen linens. Pillows, blankets and mattress pads are included.
Most cottages are pet free. Cottages on sites 38B, 39B, 231, 5 and 6 are available for those who wish to bring their dog along on vacation. Pet friendly Rental Trailers are sites 246 and 253. The number of dogs is limited to one large dog or 2 small dogs and there is an extra fee of $8 per night.

There are two handicap accessible cottages located on sites 2 and 38b. These cottages sleep 4 all others sleep 6. Rates for vacation cottages are as follows:
The rental cottages are located on sites 2 - 6, 38B - 42B and 229 - 233.
Reservation deposit for a weekly cottage rental is $275. Reservation deposit for daily rental is equal to one night's stay
In addition to the rental fee, a security deposit of $250 is required at check-in. Security Deposits will be returned either in full or part after an inspection has been completed by park staff. All Vacation Cottages are NON-SMOKING. A signed rental agreement is required for those booking Vacation Cottages. All Vacation Cottage Rentals are subject to a 6% MD Sales Tax and 4.5% Worcester County Room Tax
All cancellations are subject to a $20 administrative fee. Cancellations made in less than 30 days of your arrival date will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to one night's rent.
